Anti-Wrinkle lip flips involve putting small amounts of anti-Wrinkle injections around the upper border of the lip. This causes a relaxation of the muscle that purses the lip which in turn increases the height of the lip. Anti-Wrinkle lip flips can also help with undesirable smoker’s lines and so improve the appearance of wrinkling around the lip. The main advantage of anti-wrinkle lip flips is that they are typically cheaper and easier to do than filler lip flips. The disadvantage of anti-wrinkle lip flips is that results may vary from person to person and results typically do not last as long as fillers.

Russian lips just refer to techniques to greatly increase the height of the lip while simultaneously defining the border of the lip. There is no specific Russian lip technique. At Face Doctors Clinic, we have a specially developed lip flip technique that can achieve the Russian lip look but without the risks of filler migration (filler spreading beyond the border of the lips).

Similar to the rest of our surgery-free treatments, downtime and aftercare after the procedure are both minimal. We recommend not putting excess pressure on the injected area, and if swelling occurs then an ice pack will usually do the trick. Otherwise it should be smooth sailing!
